The ANSR Foundation has launched ‘Prarambh’, a pioneering career-readiness initiative designed to bridge the gap between academic education and employability for economically disadvantaged engineering students and graduates in Bengaluru.
‘Prarambh’, which translates to “a new beginning,” aims to empower final-year students and recent graduates from low-income communities by equipping them with essential technical and professional skills to succeed in high-demand job markets.
“India is rapidly emerging as the global hub for tech talent. With Prarambh, we are ensuring that this growth story includes young professionals from all sections of society,” said Lalit Ahuja, Founder and CEO of ANSR. “By opening up access to career opportunities, we are recognizing and nurturing the untapped potential within underserved communities.”
The initiative is powered in collaboration with Embassy REIT, a leading name in commercial real estate, and an expert team of educators specializing in technology and workforce readiness. The program’s structured curriculum is aligned with industry standards and prepares students for in-demand roles such as Associate System Engineers and IT Support Specialists.
“Studies show a significant portion of Indian engineering graduates, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds, face challenges in securing meaningful employment,” said Caroline Fernandez, Managing Director of ANSR Foundation. “Prarambh is designed to change that narrative by providing them with the practical tools they need to succeed — from technical know-how to soft skills.”
The first two cohorts will include 30 students each, carefully selected based on merit and financial need. Participants will benefit from a comprehensive training experience that includes:
- Technical Skill Development
- Soft Skills Training
- Aptitude Enhancement
- Interview Preparation
The goal is to ensure every graduate of the program is fully prepared to enter and excel in the job market.
Housed in a state-of-the-art learning facility and supported by a robust mentoring system, Prarambh is redefining how youth from underserved communities can transition from education to employment.
With its inclusive approach and strong industry backing, Prarambh is setting a new benchmark for career-readiness programs in India — one that prioritizes equal opportunity, skill development, and long-term employability.
