Website – Infinity Learn

In this catastrophic situation, when we all are confined in our house and maintain social distance, Infinity Learn comes to the rescue to revive and rejuvenate online learning classes. During this pandemic, the education sector has faced significant challenges. Infinity Learn is such an incredible platform that has managed to convert these challenges into opportunities for students. This progressive and engaging site has already transformed the digital learning experience for both child and teacher. It has become one of the leading educational platforms, with over 1 million learners by 2023.

How did Infinity Learn start its journey?

Infinity Learn started its journey by creating digital products, especially for 21st-century learners. They wanted to make sure that they could contribute to a child’s progress through learning. This is how they started creating engaging and exciting services solutions and products prevailing in the market.

This brand started hiring teachers and educators who are knowledgeable and most experienced. This is how they have ruled this education sector for the last 36 years with exceptional commitment to creating high-quality and sustainable educational solutions for learners.

They have shaped many students’ futures across India. The best part is that they have already reached places where people usually don’t think of reaching to ensure the underprivileged children get the same opportunity. By associating with different schools across India, they have also presented opportunities for each child.

How did they combat challenges?

According to Infinity Learn, infrastructure was one of the most significant challenges faced by them while delivering quality education throughout India. Reaching different remote places in India during the pandemic and addressing their issues were not easy. At that time, their four-step learning model comes to their rescue. It includes assessing learning, revising, and practicing by taking the help of videos, live classes, Flashcards, assessments, and 24/7 doubt clearing sessions.

These four pillars make them a unique platform that is perfect and incredible for academic preparation. While managing the gap between school learning and online learning sessions, they always try to make sure that children take full advantage of this 360-degree world-class platform.

The best part is that apart from serving 11th and 12th grades, they will soon include 1 to 10 grades.

Who supports Infinity Learning and why?

After witnessing their great work, you will be amazed to know that Asia’s leading educational group supports this platform. They have already invested $50 mm. Their motto is to carry forward the incredible legacy and vision of Sri Chaitanya in this fantastic digital learning and teaching space. They believe that it will create a significant impact on a child’s life.

Therefore, tracking the most challenging exams like NEET or JEE will not be a dream anymore for students across India. With live classes, mock tests, previous year questions papers, and test series, students now can easily determine where they are standing compared to others. Still, they have to keep in mind that constant practice is the key to success.

  • We have designed our product that straddles across students’ and parents’ requirements. With a focus on achieving learning outcomes, we will launch new features in phases across our product segments that cater to assessment, live classes, doubt clarification, student engagement, learning progress needs of our users.
  • We believe that the brand equity of our promoter group in the offline education space built over the last three decades can certainly help us in reaching out to the student base quickly.
  • And , we are growing North of 100% M-o-M over key metrics like Paid users, Free users, Engagement, Frequency and Retention which are foundational for building great products

What is the biggest risk to your company?

Sushma – The problem lies in the fact that the present challenges faced by the education sector are not concentrated in a single region but arise from multiple domains, right from infrastructural and technical to behavioral.

What are your plans for the funding?

Sushma – We are planning to achieve $2mn of revenue for this financial year. Though funding is not something we are actively looking for we will go to the market for strategic partnerships to help us scale across India and Globally the next 6 months’ time

What made you strike this business idea? What inspired you to start this company?

Sushma – We started EdTech with the goal of creating digital products for the 21st-century learners.

Our long-term objective is to facilitate the progress of a child through learning and initiate a digital educational reform. We are making products that are meaningfully more engaging and exciting versus the incumbent products, services, solutions prevailing in the market.

Educators are best at teaching because that’s their passion. Our passion for education comes from our founders and the impact that education had on their trajectory. We have been in the education sector for 36 years now and are deeply committed to scaling Infinity Learn that will create sustainable &high-quality education solutions for as many learners as possible.

In addition, we have been able to make a difference with students across India especially in places that no one thought of (rather usually do not think of). With schools across the country to ensure that opportunity remains available to all of our children. They were in urgent need of this help, and we did not want to afford to fail that test.

What is the biggest challenge you faced during your start-up setup?

Sushma – More than challenges, what we saw was an opportunity. To plug the big gap. As of 2019, India’s Gross Enrolment Ratio in higher education stood at 26.3%, indicating that there’s still a long way to go. Infrastructure is one of the biggest obstacles in the delivery of quality education to students throughout India, particularly in remote and rural areas that became more evident during the pandemic. With Infinity Learn, we want to help address this issue.

How does your product stand different from others in the market?

Every learning platform designed today has been created to deliver to the sudden need/ gap of what a school learning could not cater to. What distinguishes us that we are a true Online learning system from that which is simply delivers learning material with valuable content. It’s the ability to ensure that learning is actually taking place.

Our Unique learning model for the students and the 360-degree platform for any student to use IL as the primary source of learning.

  1. 4 Step learning model consisting of Assess, Learn, Revise, Practice with the help of Assessments, Videos, Flashcards, Live Classes and 24×7 doubt resolution
  2. We plan to differentiate ourselves by community (cohort based) learning apart from building a comprehensive platform for test and academic preparation

What does growth mean to you and your business?

  1. Growth is life blood of any startup and we are obsessed over it
  2. We are taking growth by launching courses across 1-12 Grades and across multiple categories like JEE and NEET

Where are your start-up services spread?

Sushma – It’s completely online. Currently we offer services for Grades 11 and 12 and will move to 1-10 grades in the next couple of months.

What does it feel like to be the founder of your start-up? How does it feel to get up every morning and getting on to work?

Sushma – Every day comes with its own challenges and we brace ourselves to face them head-on. Hence quite exciting

Where do you see your business standing in the next 5 years?
Sushma – Direct-to-consumer education solutions are going to become much more prevalent.  We have already seen many significantly scaled direct to consumer education technology companies being created in India, and we are starting to see that happen in other parts of the world as well.  As lifelong learning becomes more prevalent, this trend is just going to become more amplified, especially given the rapid pace of change happening in our digital economy.

The change is happening really fast. So that’s created an infrastructure environment that can now practically adopt a lot of this highly innovative web-based software, education platforms that would’ve been impossible to distribute eight or nine years ago. There are a few primary drivers because we’re so excited about education. Just the macro trend of migration to digital in a very large market, that’s clearly happening. So, it’s changing, is the short answer.

Who supports you to stand this business and how?

Sushma – Infinity Learn is backed by Asia’s Leading Education Group, with an investment of $50mn. Infinity Learn is led by people with the purpose to become global leaders in the digital learning arena. Our vision is to carry forward Sri Chaitanya’s legacy in the digital learning and teaching space and create a powerful impact in every child’s life.
