Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) recently hosted the Mumbai edition of its flagship quiz competition, TCS InQuizitive, attracting over 100 students from 61 different schools. Open to students from classes 8 to 12, this event celebrated the city’s young intellectual talent.
Held at the Sheila Gopal Raheja Auditorium in Bandra (W) on Sunday, the regional finals consisted of five challenging rounds. After intense competition, 15-year-old Zahaan Bijli from Bombay Scottish School, Powai, claimed the top spot, while Sidhartha Vilas, also 15, from Pawar Public School, Chandivali, took second place. Both students will now represent Mumbai at the National Finals, where they’ll compete against winners from 11 other regions across India. The awards were presented by Milind Kamble, Delivery Centre Head, Mumbai Branch at TCS.
“It was exciting to witness the enthusiasm and knowledge displayed by the participants. The competition was not only challenging but also enjoyable,” said Kamble. “TCS is dedicated to nurturing young talent, and we’re thrilled to see this passion for learning. We look forward to even more participation next year.”
TCS InQuizitive is a unique learning initiative that aims to foster curiosity and broaden students’ knowledge across areas such as technology, science, sports, engineering, and the arts. Participation in the quiz is free of charge.
