Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Kharagpur is associated with GoToPitch. Together they have launched the Global Business Model Competition – Empresario 2022. The best entries in all categories Prizes will get the chance to win prizes worth INR 50 lakh.
There will be high-quality and extensive mentoring for the shortlisted entries. The selected people will get the opportunity to pitch their exclusive ideas to some of India’s most sought-after business leaders, VC firms, and investors. Along with mentorship and great support from various reputed organizations, Empresario participants will get a chance to avail Start-up services like taxation, legal advice, co-working space, incubation opportunities, HR needs. They will also get to know various technical and financial aspects of running a start-up. Each entry will get an equal chance of demonstrating their mettle. In the end, they will take home exemplary prizes.
Vaishnav Lembhe, the executive head of competitions at Entrepreneurship Cell, says, “This is a platform where Empresario participants will have a one-of-a-kind opportunity to showcase their unique ideas and fight for a variety of prizes. This year, owing to COVID-19, the competition will be held online, and we have made the essential preparations to offer a smoother experience.”
In the first round of Empresario, the participants have to finish and submit a questionnaire. They can find the questionnaire on our website. It will be regarding their business ideas. People willing to participate must register before the deadline. It’s 15th November 2021. All the shortlisted participants will have the opportunity to receive around one month of mentorship even before demonstrating their Business Models.
