What made you strike this business idea? What inspired you to start this company?

Ojas Batra – I always wanted to bring change in education, and I wanted to give back to school students because they were not able to leave regular school as I could, that’s why my aim was to provide them with the skills and education that I had to learn the hard way.

What does success mean to your company?

Ojas Batra – Success for my company means our students to be highly qualified and for them to build a career going out of the way, the quality of education we provide is more important to us then the quantity of students we have.

How are you performing currently?

Ojas Batra – We have been doing great we are about to launch our pre-recorded course and we are about to integrate platforms to my companies through which we will be able to lower our cost and provide the same quality.

What is the biggest risk to your company?

Ojas Batra – I don’t believe that there are risks if you are a good entrepreneur, every entrepreneur should have the ability to create opportunities out of risks, if I talk about challenges our major challenge has been changing the minds of parents and students on why skill education and all around performance education is important.

What are your plans for the funding?

Ojas Batra – Currently we are bootstrapped and reinvesting our profits, we will be planning for funding in 2nd quarter of 2021.

What is the biggest challenge you faced during your start-up setup?

Ojas Batra – The biggest challenge I faced while setting up my startup was and in some sense still is, is hiring employees, many employees get their ego striked for working someone who does not hold any degree and is younger then them.

What does growth mean to you and your business?

Ojas Batra – I believe in numbers, growth for us means improvement of product, increase in number of students which hence results in increase of revenue.

How does your product stand different from others in the market?

Ojas Batra – Hive group of companies holds 3 companies under it.

1) Teen Hive- Teen Hive is something which does not exist in the market right now, the only major source for education for teenagers are schools and institutes, but both of them focus on the wrong thing, our focus is on the all around development of teenagers including skill development, mental health, career.

2) Skill Hive- we believe is skill development despite of someone’s age and by their choice we provide short-term and low cost courses for them to experiment with different skills and once they choose we help them specialize in that skill and how to make a career with that.

3) Talent Hive- undisclosed still in development.

Where are your start-up services spread?

Ojas Batra – Currently our startup services are spread across India majorly and we also have some students in the US, Canada and Europe.

What does it feel to be the founder of your start-up? How does it feel getting up every morning and getting on to work?

Ojas Batra – If feels great as we not only work for money but everyday we are improving lives and working towards our mission. Everyday when I wake up I am happy that I’m doing what I like and that is making a change in the society and generating revenue.

Where do you see your business standing in the next 5 years?

Ojas Batra – We plan to make Teen Hive known to a huge share of all teenagers in the country and parents to understand our mission and improve our product to introduce different programs and mentorships for different durations.

Who supports you to stand this business and how?

Ojas Batra – My parents are the biggest support for me to stand this business, they have been with me and supporting my mindset since I started my career at 10 and they have been supporting me in every startup of mine and throughout my ups and downs.
